Why Miners Still Buy AMD Radeon RX 580
The Radeon RX 580(4GB and 8GB) is so popular because it’s power efficient and gives out similar hash rates on most algorithms. The one exception? Ethereum mining! This cryptocurrency can be mined at high speeds with this graphics card while remaining pretty powerful for everyday use (it only consumes 60 watts). If you’re looking to mine 1080p, then the medium quality preset will give around 60 fps using your new rig as well as 70 fps if desired more responsiveness by lowering settings. That’s why, back in the day, the RX 580 was quite hard to find, as it was out of stock.
Is RX 580 still good for mining?
RX 580 is a great crypto-mining card (rx 580 cryptonight hashrate), but it’s becoming more difficult to find. It would be wise to look for other options such as the Radeon RX 590 8GB that will fulfill your needs while still fulfilling them well in this new era of larger DAG sizes and VRAM limitations on these GPUs!
The RX 580 is available in two memory configurations: 4GB and 8GB. The 4GB variant shows promising results, especially when mining coins that utilize the DaggerHashimoto algorithm, commonly associated with Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum Classic (ETC). It achieves a hashrate of approximately 22. 36 MH/s, demonstrating its efficiency in producing blocks in these networks. Additionally, for Decred (DCR), it features a hashrate of 1. 32 GH/s, showcasing its versatility in mining different cryptocurrencies.
In terms of Cryptonight, which is favored by coins like Monero (XMR), the RX 580 4GB variant maintains a hashrate of 0. 57 kH/s, making it suitable for mining privacy-focused coins. For the CryptoNightV7 algorithm, it can manage 0. 69 kH/s, further emphasizing its adaptability across various mining protocols. The card also performs well with Lbry (LBC) at a hashrate of 0. 16 GH/s and Equihash-based cryptocurrencies such as Zcash (ZEC) and ZEN, hitting a notable 280. 02 Sol/s.

The 8GB variant of the RX 580 enhances these metrics significantly. For example, it achieves a higher hashrate of 26. 7 MH/s on the DaggerHashimoto algorithm, which proves advantageous for miners focusing on Ethereum. Furthermore, its performance with Decred increases to 1. 4 GH/s. The 8GB version also excels with Cryptonight, recording a hashrate of 0. 65 kH/s, and it maintains consistent figures in the CryptoNightV7 and Equihash algorithms as well.
Overclocking is a common practice among miners to maximize their hardware performance. For the RX 580, recommended overclocking settings include reducing the voltage to -30 and adjusting the core speeds specifically for different algorithms, such as 1150 MHz for Ethereum mining and 1300 MHz for Zcash and Monero. Memory speeds can be pushed to 2200 MHz, which greatly enhances overall hashrate performance.

is reallly getting 310 sols for BTG. ??? i am getting my GTX1050 only 15 h/s for maximum
i get 305 on 98 watts
31.5 mh/s in claymore dual eth
also 98 watt.
when i go 150 watts i grab 41 but its not worth the power. Sapphire nitro + 8gb. core 1250mhz 1010mv mem 2270mhz 980mv. – power till you reach 98-100watt. done. Own edited flash with only one edited memory strap on 2000 Self edited no copy. normal strap should work nice too.
my house is solar-powered and i ordered this gpu is it worth it
Dear Felix it is the best idea to use solar power. Well Done.
